How Super-Calc collects, uses, and protects information about you.

Last updated May 13, 2026

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes how Super-Calc ("we", "us", "our"), operating the website super-calc.com, handles personal data collected from visitors. For privacy questions, contact support@super-calc.com.

2. What we collect

Super-Calc does not offer user accounts or registration. There is no profile, no saved history, and no personal dashboard linked to you. The data we handle is limited to the items below.

2.1 Information you give us

  • Calculator inputs. Numbers and selections you enter on calculator pages. These are processed to return a result; we may retain anonymised input/output snapshots (associated only with a short-lived session identifier and truncated IP) to monitor accuracy, debug errors, and improve the product. They are not linked to your identity.
  • Contact form submissions. Your name, email address, subject and message — plus your IP address and browser user-agent at the time of submission. These are stored in our database so authorised staff can read them, reply directly from the admin area, and keep an audit trail of correspondence. Used solely to handle your inquiry and prevent abuse.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Log data. IP address, browser type, language, pages visited, and timestamps. Used for security, abuse prevention, and aggregate analytics.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy for the full list. We do not use any login or "remember-me" cookies for visitors.
  • Approximate location. Derived from IP for currency/locale defaults — never finer than country/region.

3. Third-party services

We rely on the following processors. Each operates under its own privacy policy:

  • Google Analytics & Tag Manager — aggregate traffic measurement (anonymized IPs).
  • Google AdSense — personalised or non-personalised ads, depending on your consent. Google may use cookies for ad personalisation in line with the Google ads policy.
  • Google reCAPTCHA — abuse and bot prevention on forms. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Brevo (Sendinblue) — transactional email delivery for replies sent from the admin area to people who used the contact form.
  • Cloud hosting provider — site infrastructure and request logs.

4. Legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR)

  • Legitimate interest — site security, abuse prevention, aggregate analytics.
  • Consent — non-essential cookies, personalised advertising, marketing emails.
  • Contract / pre-contract — replying to messages you initiate.

5. How long we keep data

  • Server access logs: 30 days.
  • Anonymised calculator usage logs: 90 days, then aggregated.
  • Contact form messages (and any reply we send): 24 months from last activity, after which they are deleted unless required for an ongoing matter.
  • Aggregated analytics: up to 26 months (Google Analytics default).

6. Your rights

Because we do not maintain user accounts, the only personal data we typically hold that identifies you is the message you sent through the contact form (and short-lived request logs). If you are in the EEA, UK, California, or another jurisdiction with data-protection laws, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you (in practice, this means contact-form messages tied to your email).
  • Request correction or deletion of those messages.
  • Object to processing or request restriction.
  • Receive your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time (does not affect prior lawful processing).
  • Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Email support@super-calc.com to exercise any of these rights. We respond within 30 days.

7. Children

Super-Calc is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). If you believe a child has submitted data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Security

We use TLS encryption for all traffic and least-privilege access controls on our backend. The site has no public registration or login — only internal staff accounts (with hashed passwords) can access the admin area. No system is perfectly secure; we follow industry best practices to minimise risk.

9. International transfers

Our processors may store data in countries outside your own. Transfers from the EEA or UK rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent safeguards.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be flagged on the site for at least 30 days.
